Treasure Hunt project has now come to an end!
It has been a very intense 3 years during which the project consortium has worked hard to achieve the goal of training agritourism entrepreneurs in developing the skills and competencies needed to innovate their agritourism business, paying attention to sustainability, respect for the territory and innovation.
Across 5 countries, from Spain to Bulgaria, through Italy and from Greece up to Sweden, there has been fertile ground for exchange of best practices, cooperation among partners and many young people participating in international training exchanges. From the green vegetation of agritourism farms in the Greek hills, to the warm lagoon of the Albufera Nature Park in Spain, and then along the crops in the Italian hills to the sustainable production of wool and other products in the snowy Swedish forests, it has been a continuous learning and opening to new horizons.
In the last few months until October 2024, training activities continued in the project countries, during which young participants from all partner countries had the opportunity for international exchanges to learn what had been developed, use the training materials produced, and participate in study visits relevant to the topic addressed.
In October 2024, the last Meeting among the project partners was held in Athens, during which a summary of all the work done was made; a particular focus on the importance of English for agrotourisms and on the section English for Agritourism Self-study Guide and on Educational Games was conducted.
All the training materials developed can be freely accessed, used and downloaded online on the project website:
- Training Framework
- Handbook for Agritourism
- Social Learning Platform
- Training Package on Agritourism
- Agritourism Glossary
- Educational Games
- English for Agritourism Self-study Guide
